Amazing: 22-Year-Old Female Pilot Makes Emergency Landing on Busy Texas Street

Texas - 22-year-old Sarah Chantal Rovner has only had her license to pilot an aircraft for 3 months, but after seeing the amazing emergency landing she made a few days ago, you would think that she was a veteran.
The young lady is a volunteer with the Texas Civil Air Patrol. When she took off from West Houston Airport to Lone Star Executive Airport in nearby Conroe, Texas, the Cessna 172 jet began losing power.
Her destination was 6 miles away, and she initially when the plane lost power, she thought that she was going to be able to glide for the remaining 6 miles. Instead, she was forced to make an emergency landing on East Davis Street in Conroe.

A Federal Aviation Administration controller at the airport helped guide her in, and miraculously, nobody was injured!!!
The incident happened while she was out on a training mission at about 9:30 pm. She’s a second lieutenant with the Thunderbird Composite Squadron, a unit of the U.S Air Force that conducts rescue missions.
She lost a wing avoiding a car, knocked down a few powerlines, and a sign, but the most important part is that – NOBODY WAS INJURED!!!
This young lady has less than 100 flying hours, and is already a hero in many people’s eyes. Great job Sarah!!!
Here’s a look at Sarah in this video shot right after the incident….
