Patrick’s will to live….

Patrick, a one-year-old pit bull, has a story that will make most people teary-eyed. His former owner, Kisha Curtis, abused him horribly. She lived on the 19th floor of her building in New Jersey, and would leave poor Patrick tied up in the hallway without water or food.

The young woman, 28 year-old former Duke student, finally got tired of owning Patrick, and threw him down the trash chute. At the time, Patrick was suffering from sever starvation.

A maintenance guy found him, and now, veterinarians have him nursed back to health. It took a blood transfusion and a lot of care, but the Pit Bull is in great health now. (See below).

Kisha Curtis, now two counts of abandonment and two counts of failure to provide proper sustenance to an animal. The max that she can get is a $1600.00 fine and six moths in the slammer.
